The benefit of exercising can never be compromised. Not only that it gives strength, it goes a long way making the brain to relax even when you find yourself in ugly situations.

Equally remember that, all strength training do not belong to exercises alone. If your mind is traumatized, that system may burden the person into lacking strength. Hence mind is biased, the physical body follows suit.

As distant runner and weight-lifter, I have benefited both in strength and emotional relaxation. Yes! That is why I hit that Gym three times in a week, and equally that road work.
