(LESSON 23):-- How To Lift Your Talent To Its Highest Level
By putting the TALENT-PLUS formula into action
TALENT + BELIEF = A TALENT-PLUS PERSON.
With this I must ask this question, how do you become a talent-plus person? I must have to be sincere with you here; I am a witness to this issue of talent-plus agendathrough my own personal experience for over ten years now as a writer on a blogger platform.
The only way to become a talent-plus person is to tap into a natural chain of actions that begins with belief and ends with positive action. Here are the three main steps to follow in order to lift your talent to its highest level:
1. Your Belief Should Determine Your Expectation=>
To lift your talent to its highest level, you should avoid the mistake of focusing on your talent. First, begin to harness the power of your mind, because, your belief control everything you do.
So, accomplishment as we always expect from people is a matter of working harder or smarter. This is just a sure syndrome, if you expect to fail, sure you will and if your expectation is to win, definitely you will win.
Remember this, you will become on the outside what you believe on the inside. Note that a belief is a habit of mind in which confidence becomes a conviction that we embrace. In the long run, a belief is more than an idea that possesses a person. So, if you expected nothing, blessed are you that you will never get disappointed.
Therefore, if you want to achieve something in life, you have to be willing to expect disappointments. That you expect to succeed does not mean you will win No!
You will fail, make mistakes also. But, as someone who expects to win, you have to maximize your talent and keep on trying.
Then like the successful ones, you will find your end-point one day in life.
2. Your Expectations Determines Your Actions=>
In twenty of the most primitive languages in the world, the word BELIEF is the same as the word for DO. It is only when people become more “sophisticated” that they begin to separate the meaning of one word from the other.
This example is very narrative because most people separate BELIEF from ACTION.
Then, the issue now is; how can we bring these two important words back together again? Well, this is simple, it is through our EXPECTATIONS. This is because; we cannot live in a way that is inconsistence with our expectations for ourselves.
Through my reading and research, I just saw a story about an aviation pioneer who built plane years before the Wright Brothers did. It was obvious that the plane sat in the barn of the inventor because he was afraid to fly it.
May be, this is because he believed it had never been done before, or maybe he was afraid it could fail him. I cannot really tell what his expectation was over flying this plane.
According to the story, after the news reached him about the Wright Brothers, the man decided to fly his plane. It was unfortunate that he did not believe in himself enough to take the risk then.
So, there are two types of people in this world and they are:
(i) Those who want to get things done
(ii) Those who do not want to make mistakes
Sure, the Wright Brothers are of the first while the first inventor was of the second. Assuming you are of the first, expect to believe in yourself and take the risk. What if you belong to the second type? I assure you that there is good news for you: you can grow starting from today because, today is too early for you to make that change.
3. Action Determines Your Results=>
Using the law of motion from Sir Isaac Newton as an indication here, It states that; “for every action, there is an equal and opposite reaction.”
Brethren, results come from taking action. This statement may be obvious in the physical realm however, in the human realm; many people fail to make that connection.
They go about hopping for good results to surface. A person who wants good results has to take good actions. Lastly, try to see yourself as you could be, and then go ahead to do everything in your power to become that person.
I assure you that, this is the first most important step in becoming a talent-plus person. Go ahead and observe the three steps that will enable you lift your talent to the highest level, and it would not be long, you will start experiencing positive results.
No doubt, with these ideas, you should be well engaged to make change in your life and stick to healthier habitual and moral lifestyle for the long term.
And my final two points should be:
1. Knowledge without action is entirely useless. You are now well equipped with tools to use and change your life, now it is time to do it. I know you have a lot of goals that are important to you, then, use these ideas to make it a reality.
2. Doing my best for our community is my priority so; we are here to support you. I write two articles for a small community each week, Monday and Thursday, and these small communities are people who are to getting better, living healthier, and making the world a better place.
I do my best to help them achieve their goals, and this is my part to play, and I will always like to do the same for you.
