What causes personality to attract?
And what is an attractive personality? You may be expecting to see whole lots of enumerations listed below as an answer. But, an attractive personality is: A personality that attracts. Simple and period, and next that comes to mind should be; the quality that causes a personality to attract.

Let us proceed to find out. But before then, let us delve little into what your personality is all about. Your personality is the sum total of your characteristics and appearances which distinguish you from all others.

The sum total of the clothes you wear, the curves on your face, how the tone of your voice is, and your thoughts in which you think, the character that is a habitual thing out of those thoughts, all these are what make up parts of your personality.

Another matter now which seems like a judgment that strikes the mind is; whether your PERSONALITY is attractive or not. Remember, the most important part of your PERSONALITY is the part that is not visible which is represented by your character. Though, the style of your clothes and their appropriateness constitute a very important part of your PERSONALITY, this is true based on people always form first impression of you from the type of outfit which portray your outward appearance.

Remember that, the manner in which you shake hands forms an important part of your personality, and goes a very long way in attracting or repelling those with whom you shake hands. And this characteristic can be cultivated.

So, you should be aware that there are people who can look through your eyes into your heart and can be able to see what is written there by the nature of your most even secret thoughts. That is why the expression of your eyes which also forms an important part of your personality should be taken care of.

We should proceed now to arrange this outward medium (means) through which the nature of your personality is expressed because, we want it only to attract instead of to repel (not to attract). And there is one way to express the parts (composite) of your PERSONALITY so that, it will always attract. And this is by_____

Being a person who “takes a keen-interest in the game of the life of other people.” I know there is a confusion now with this statement above but, let me illustrate what it meant by narrating a life story experience from a C.E.O, equally an Author and an old Lady, from which the C.E.O believed to have been thought a lesson on a master salesmanship.

One day an old Lady called in at the office of the C.E.O and sent him card with a message saying she wanted to see him personally. She refused to disclose the purpose of her visit, upon the amount of coaxing by secretaries, so, this caused the Author (C.E.O) made up his mind that she was some poor soul who wanted to sell him a book, but upon remembering that his own mother is a woman, he decided to go out and meet her.

Please, I urge you follow this lesson attentively, for you will learn a lesson on master salesmanship here because, I did when I finished writing this little story.

As the C.E.O walked down the walk-way from his private office this old Lady, who just was standing outside began to smile. The Author was amazed on her smile though having seen people smile before but, never before have seen one who smiled as sweetly as did this Lady.

This was one of the contagious smilesbecause; the C.E.O caught the spirit of it and began to smile too.
She extended her hand for greeting and this old Lady looked so sweetly innocent that the Author extended his hand too though it was their first acquaintance.

She began to shake his hand that the Author discovered not only how attractive her hand shake was but she also had a magnetic hand-shake.

The Author who has shaken hands with many people before in life confessed that he do not recall having ever done so with anyone who understand the art of doing it as the old Lady did.

According to the C.E.O, he said that the moment the old Lady touched his hand, he could feel himself “sleeping,” at that moment, the Author knew that whatever it was that the old lady had come after she would go away with it, and he would equally aid and abet her all he could toward the end.

The penetrating smile and the warm hand-shake had disarmed the Author and made him a “willing victim.” To be sincere with you, this old Lady had neutralized the mind of the C.E.O and made him want to listen.

At this point most people fall and break their necks because; it is useless to try to sell a man something until you have first made him want to listen.

Take note how well this old Lady used a smile and a warm hand-shake as the tools with which to prey upon the window that led to the heart of the Author; and finally, the most important part of the transaction is yet to be related.

Slowly and with deliberate movement, as if she had all the time in the universe the old Lady began to melt the first step of her victory into reality by saying: “I just came here to tell you that I think you are doing the most wonderful work of any man in the world today.”

Every word coming out of the mouth of this old woman was emphasized by gentleness, through firm squeeze of his hand, and contagiously, she was looking through the eyes of the Author and into his heart as well when she spoke.

After the Author might have regained consciousness (because, it became a standing joke among his assistants at the office that the Author was dead faint away) he reached and unlocked the entrance that fastened the gate and said:

“Come right in, dear Lady, ___- come right into my private office,” and with such a gallant bow she came in and get seated.
As the old Lady entered, the Author unknowingly motioned her to the big-easy-chair and decided to seat on the little hard chair which under ordinary circumstances, he would have used as a means of discouraging her from taking up too much of his time.

For three quarters of an hour the C.E.O listened to one of the most brilliant and charming conversations he have ever heard, and the visiting old Lady was doing all of the conversation.
The Author humbly became a willing listener because; his visitor entranced him with brilliant and captivating conversation for three quarters of an hour.

Now, what do you think she was talking about all these while? She was not selling the Author any book as he imagined earlier, she was selling him something and that thing is “HIMSELF” she was busy selling me “myself” lamented the C.E.O.

She immediately unrolled a package which the Author had mistaken to be books for sale but, it was a complete file of years about a magazine in which the C.E.O was the Editor. She turned the pages of that Magazine and read places that she had marked here and there, assuring the C.E.O that she had always believed the philosophy back of that which she was reading from the Magazine.

The C.E.O who had forgotten the work of that Magazine for years was in a state of complete mesmerism, and thoroughly receptive, the old Lady tactfully switched the conversation to a subject which was suspected she had in mind long before she presented herself.

It was a sale for securities, and the Author was pleased even though he did not buy, but he directed the old Lady to where she made enough sales for twelve years consecutively.

Because, the old Lady possessed the PERSONALITY that always attracts which is: _____ being a person who takes keen-interest in the game of the life of other people? Finally, here comes the statement from the C.E.O due to his amazement as a result of this kind of PRESONALITY:

“If that same woman, or another woman, or a man, who had the tact and personality that she possessed, should call me, I would again sit down for three quarters of an hour.”

No doubt, with these ideas, you should be well engaged to make change in your life and stick to healthier habitual and moral lifestyle for the long term.

And my final two points should be:
1. Knowledge without action is entirely useless. You are now well equipped with tools to use and change your life, now it is time to do it. I know you have a lot of goals that are important to you, then, use these ideas to make it a reality.
